OUR PLANET, OUR FUTURE

We fight for the planet with bold action because sustainability is the future, and the future starts now.

Environmental Volunteering

Shoreline CleanUp Initiatives

Protecting the environments where we live and work is a shared responsibility at Microserve. Through annual shoreline cleanups in communities across Western Canada, our employees volunteer their time to remove debris, restore local ecosystems, and care for shared waterways. These hands-on initiatives reflect our commitment to environmental stewardship and connect our teams directly to the impact of collective action.

EcoVadis

Microserve is committed to strengthening our environmental and ethical performance through globally recognized standards. In 2025, we completed our first EcoVadis assessment and earned the EcoVadis Committed badge, marking an important milestone in our ESG journey. This assessment establishes a clear baseline across environmental, labour, ethics, and sustainable procurement practices - helping us prioritize high impact actions and drive continuous improvement on our path forward.

Certificate of Recognition (COR) – Alberta

Microserve is proud to hold the Alberta Certificate of Recognition (COR), a provincial occupational health and safety certification that recognizes organizations with effective, audited safety management systems. This designation reflects our commitment to creating safe, healthy workplaces, preventing injuries and incidents, and fostering a culture where employee wellbeing is a shared responsibility. By maintaining COR in Alberta, we demonstrate our ongoing dedication to protecting our people and supporting strong, healthy communities.

City of Vancouver Case Study

Microserve proudly supported the City of Vancouver’s sustainability and circular‑economy goals by transforming how the City manages end‑of‑life IT assets. Through a full life‑cycle IT solution that prioritizes reuse over recycling, Microserve helped extend the life of hardware, reduce e‑waste, and support the City’s Zero Waste 2040 plan. By partnering with BC Technology for Learning Society, thousands of refurbished devices were redistributed to low‑income individuals and nonprofits, advancing digital equity while aligning directly with the City’s social value and environmental commitments.
