Building Community Resilience

We champion inclusion and reconciliation through Indigenous allyship, LGBTQ+ support, anti-bullying campaigns, and employee-led volunteering. Our goal is to build stronger, more connected communities.

Pink Shirt Day

At Microserve, Pink Shirt Day is more than a symbol - it’s a commitment to building safer, kinder communities. Each year, we rally our employees to wear pink, spark conversations about bullying, and support youth antibullying programs across Western Canada. Through companywide fundraising and donationmatching initiatives, we help amplify the impact of organizations working directly with schools and communities to promote inclusion, empathy, and mental wellbeing. Together, we stand up for kindness and create meaningful change where it matters most.

Pride

At Microserve, Pride is about creating a workplace and community where everyone feels seen, respected, and safe to be themselves. Each year, we support Pride through employee-led engagement, education, and fundraising initiatives that uplift 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. Our Pride efforts include companywide participation, awareness-building conversations, and charitable support for organizations that provide advocacy, safety, and essential resources. By standing in solidarity during Pride and beyond, we reinforce our commitment to inclusion, belonging, and community impact.

Community Champions Program

At Microserve, our Community Champions are employees who turn values into action. Through this employee-led program, Microservians are empowered to volunteer their time and skills in support of causes they care about - whether that’s coaching youth sports, mentoring students, supporting food security, or restoring local environments. Community Champion hours align to our four pillars of community impact: Health & Wellbeing for All, Opening Doors Through Education, Building Community Resilience, and Our Planet, Our Future. By recognizing and supporting employee-driven volunteering beyond company-run events, we create space for meaningful, grassroots impact in the communities where we live and work.
