For 25 years, Tara Landes has been the secret weapon over 300 businesses leaders have used to solve operational challenges. She is a certified change management practitioner from The Prosci Institute and a licensed influence trainer from The Cialdini Institute. She is the lead faculty member for the Bellrock management training programs, having graduated hundreds of students. She has also delivered dozens of presentations and workshops to organizations like TEC Canada, Mackay Forums, Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC), and Chartered Professionals in Human Resources of British Columbia and Yukon (CPHR BC & Yukon).

Jeff Coolen is the Chief Information Officer at Lordco Auto Parts, where he leads enterprise IT strategy and digital transformation for Western Canada’s largest private automotive parts distributor and retailer. With deep expertise in retail technology systems, ERP, supply chain optimization, and e-commerce, Jeff brings a strong background in software development and enterprise applications. Prior to Lordco, he was responsible for enterprise applications at Save-On-Foods, driving innovation in retail technology. Recognized as a trusted business partner, Jeff is focused on developing and enabling Lordco’s future through strong partnerships.

Michael Lam is the Associate Vice President, Technology & Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Douglas College, leading the Information Technology Services for BC’s largest degree-granting college. Recognized as a people-focused leader, he aligns technology strategy with institutional goals while overseeing the entire digital ecosystem. Under his leadership, the IT team drove significant advancements: achieving near-perfect client satisfaction, surpassing cybersecurity benchmarks, and improving IT governance (increasing 39 of 45 COBIT scores). He also successfully drove a major cultural turnaround with sustained improvement in employee engagement. Prior to Douglas College, Michael served seven years as the Director of IT at The Crisis Centre of BC, where he built and maintained life-saving technology for suicide prevention, notably delivering the first mobile crisis chat service in Canada.

Gráinne McElroy is a CIO and technology strategist who has spent her career helping organizations navigate disruption and embrace change with confidence. As CIO at UBC’s Faculty of Medicine, she leads digital transformation and cybersecurity initiatives across one of Canada’s most complex distributed Faculties of Medicine. Gráinne has delivered major transformation programs across organizations in the Private and Public sector, including at Cargill Inc., one of the world’s largest privately owned businesses, and before UBC, at Royal Roads University and BC Assessment. She brings a practical, people-centred approach to leading through uncertainty—balancing long-term vision with the realities of operating in fast-moving, high-stakes environments.

Ben Firth is a seasoned IT executive specializing in ERP transformation and SAP systems implementation within large-scale organizations. With a proven track record of leading complex initiatives, Ben has played a pivotal role in modernizing enterprise platforms across public and private sectors. His leadership at the Transformation Management Office for the Government of Alberta was instrumental in deploying a new SAP ERP platform, streamlining operations and enhancing service delivery.
Ben also led key SAP transformation projects for the City of Edmonton and Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis, driving strategic alignment, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence. Most recently, Ben joined Teck Resources in Vancouver as SAP Project Director within the Transformation Office, where he is spearheading the next phase of the company’s ERP modernization journey. His focus includes integration strategy, data governance, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure scalable, secure, and future-ready SAP solutions.

Grant has accountability for day to day business operations of IT including financial operations, staffing, and IT Performance. In addition to his OCIO accountabilities, Grant also has accountabilities for Information Risk Management and ICBC’s cyber security strategy as well as Enterprise Architecture. With 25 years of Information Technology experience, Grant has experience leading on both the application side as well as the operations sides of IT.
