Vancouver, July 29, 2024 – Microserve’s employees, clients, and vendor partners came together in July for the 28th annual fundraiser to support the Douglas College Foundation. This year, we proudly raised $8,500, contributing to our ongoing commitment to making higher education accessible. This year’s donation brings Microserve’s total contributions over the 28-year partnership to nearly half a million dollars, directly benefiting students in need.
For 28 years, Microserve has prioritized community involvement and nurturing future generations. Our long-standing partnerships with educational institutions underscore our dedication to these values, showcasing our enduring commitment to the success of students.
“Beyond their commitment to diversity, we applaud Microserve’s devotion to the entire Douglas College community, including faculty, students, and staff,” said Cheryl Bosley, Director of Philanthropy at the Douglas College Foundation. “They actively participate in our institution, offering valuable learning opportunities to our students through the College’s Co-operative Education Program, resulting in many students being hired by Microserve after their Co-op experiences.”
The proceeds from this year’s fundraiser will be directed toward the Douglas College Foundation, supporting scholarships and bursaries for students.
