Increasing Access To Higher Education

We believe that when higher education becomes more accessible and attainable, everyone benefits. That’s why Microserve is committed to supporting education, continuing studies, and lifelong learning in our communities.

Working in partnership with some of the best educational institutions in Canada, Microserve has established several scholarship and bursary funds to help make it possible for more people to achieve their goals through quality education. We also focus on hiring co-op students and new graduates to help them gain the work experience they need to launch successful careers in the IT industry.

Environmental Sustainability

We’re committed to making a positive difference in the world and within our communities. Part of that means minimizing our environmental footprint on the earth. This is a key consideration across all of our business operation for the sake of Canada and the world.

We are committed to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Whenever possible, we use products that are safe, energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and can be reused, composted, recycled or disposed of safely.

We have progressive waste disposal programs that offer a level of composting and recycling that exceeds minimum requirements.

We work with responsible manufacturers who are committed to environmental computing practices and meet or exceed applicable government requirements.

We make a concerted effort to reduce employee car and air travel by encouraging public transit and carpooling to work, and leveraging collaboration technologies so people can work together effectively across locations.

We are committed to reduce, reuse and recycle. aWe avoid non-sustainable office supplies, such as paper or Styrofoam cups, plastic cutlery and other single-use or disposable items.

We minimize paper waste by using recycled-content paper and paperless, electronic options when ordering and reporting.

Community Involvement

Microserve actively works with and gives to other charities and deserving causes, both locally and globally. Our support takes on many forms—in-kind and monetary donations, fundraising events, and giving of time to volunteer efforts.
